Has some bugs last I checked. I'd love to use this for my family's Nextcloud server as I and several of my siblings are queer with thankfully accepting parents, but as of now it kind of takes over. Would be much more preferable if the admin could simply enable it as an optional theme, or even the default theme if they prefer. I know my mom would love to use it as she keeps her phone background Pride-themed even beyond Pride month, but I personally prefer to have a green theme. More flag options would also be great; I personally prefer the seven-color flag from before pink was removed, and others I like include the queer chevron flag and the agender flag. Other variants of the "more color more pride" flag would be excellent as well - I'm rather partial to the raised fist one. While, yeah, I'm pretty sure you can set your own background, it can be difficult to find a high-quality image of your preferred flag in the right resolution. Ultimately a good addon that needs more work.

Imagine became pissed off because some app that simply displays pride flag and nothing else exists on the app store.
Wow, just, wow.
I mean, it isn't even preinstalled.
WTF.
Really.
And just for that I'd give a rating of 5/5.

What does it do other than changing the background image? I totally agree with user 77 64. I'm also tired of this politicization and I am gay. Produce unnecessary apps just to push a message?

Taking into consideration that any Admin or end user can change their Instance's background when available to be whatever, cars, CCP propaganda or kittens, and to push whatever political bias they want or may have, it seems having an exclusive app in software like Nextlcoud that does nothing but this seems more like an exercise in Virtue Signaling or simply to increase Nextcloud's "DEI Score." Do some sexual groups require to be reaffirmed absolutely everywhere? We are not living in the 1970's anymore. My gay friends tell me that they are more than just their preference on who they sleep with and do not want their personalities boiled down to a team group mentality or worse, just labels, in this manner.
I already see enough Politics everywhere I go and I say that as a life-long Liberal. Personally, I have reached Political exhaustion. Can't be the only one tired of this. I understand that some, gay or not, may want their political worldview reaffirmed at any possible opportunity but I think this will backfire in time. Which is not a good or healthy thing for all.
I read all the reviews and some other Reviewers keep referring to "homophobes," in their comments, yet none of the other reviews available do nothing but throw anything but 5 Stars, alas for 3 other reviewers. Two of which gives it a lower rating due the slightly different shade of the colors in the rainbow flag. One actually discusses the app. Yet, people seem to be leaving perfect ratings all around, seemingly and only for Political reasons. The only ones that did not, give it middle of the road reviews. I for one think the bars on the flag are too wide and would pick a different background, have other flags? Point is this should be left to be rated organically.
As such, my low rating is also partly due to the concern that NC staff actively will delete negative ratings? Or how does that it work? Do older ratings simple get thrown out or deleted? If that is not the case, I may update this rating. As I hope that is not the case. Tired of politics everywhere.
Forcing down anyone's point of view down another's throat, only because I may agree with it, seems like the bigger issue at hand. We do not like it when others do it, then why do it ourselves? Because we happen to agree with it? No one owns the monopoly on hypocrisy. In the long run, it will alienate others and will lead to public backtracking on progress and no one wants that. I support gay rights but not in this way.
I would assume that like others, I am allowed to have an opinion. Even if it is diverse than the current set of reviewers.

Great splash background for my companies internal and external workspaces. Just makes stuff more comfy for my fellow developers!

Awesome app for some pride customization of your nextcloud. However the Colour of the buttons cannot changed from yellow to another colour for a better readability

Cool design. And look at all those triggered queerphobe snowflakes! Having those hateful human hating subjects angry makes this even more satisfying.

My NextCloud is now looking fabulous - thanks!
Was wondering why this wasn't 5 stars and it's only because of hate... this is not "forcing a viewpoint" on anyone. If you don't like it, don't install it :O

Best app in the Appstore. The Homophobes are just sad because we stole the rainbow and won't give it back

I prefer the old version that replaced the background colours of buttons rather than the background of the app.

It works as a good filter for those who are too sensitive to work with people that are different than themselves and would end up creating a hostile workplace for everyone.

Development (bots not counted in): really seldom (feature complete?)
Has a terrible rating because a bunch of miserable homophobes took the time out of their day to leave terrible reviews and say it's "inappropriate", "cultish", and "forces a single viewpoint". Nah, you chose to click on it in the massive list of apps knowing exactly what it was.
