Project seems to be dead. Issues in github are not answered any more.

It prevents me from updating to nextcloud 22.

Since authentication is such an integral part, I can only suggest to use the authentication mechanisms build into nextcloud.

I think its potential to break things in the database is far too big to not extend the docs with more details and add warnings to the documentation. The created accounts by the sync are not able to be removed and orphaned data are the result.

Works fine with a Postfix mailbox table as backend and Dovecot passwords; see https://github.com/nextcloud/user_sql/issues/90

Only works with very basic db setup unless you use one of the supported products.

Works perfect with MariaDb Cluster in combination with Worpress ! I'm looking forward to a Version for Nextcloud 11 :-)
