As others have said this is the best mail client for Nextcloud. A lot more options/configurability than NC Mail while being much more performant. Something simple like being able to disable threads/conversation view in your email list, which NC Mail not only lacks, but you also get the typical response from the maintainer "Why would such a feature even be needed?"

Now if only it could sync your Mailcow calendar with your Nextcloud calendar...

Great replacement for Rainloop. Which itself is a great replacement for Nextcloud Mail. With extra options and plugins. I truly want to like Nextcloud Mail but for me, it is too slow for daily use, specially, if you manage more than a couple of accounts, despite Mail's integration with Nextcloud being at times better.

This is an updated review, and it ha been over a year since Snappymail's original integration with Nextcloud. So far, the app is very usable, and head and shoulders the one, only and best mail client available on Nextcloud. The recent and newer theme reflecting the post NC25 aesthetic finally ends the feasibly worst criticism about SM, which was that it looked like it came out straight out the 1990's or early 2000's UI sensibilities.

Lots of thanks to @the-djmaze for taking the time and effort of bringing his rendition of this great and nimble email client to the Nextcloud community.

This is the only workable email client on Nextcloud. If you only use a single email account, this will probably work fine for you. However, if you have multiple accounts, there is no support for unified inboxes: You need to manually switch between accounts, which isn't really practical.

Difficult not to like : in my setup, this works even better (and faster) than the old rainloop extension. Don't know what makes the difference, but it's appreciated.

App is the successor to Rainloop. Unlike Rainloop, the app works with NC25. Many bugs have been fixed in a very short time since the first NC compatibles releases on GitHub have been released. New features have also been added.

The app and its development is a positiv signal for further improvements in short time.
