Music Stats - Releases

First public release.

Tracking

• Opt-in tracking per user. The first snapshot saves Music's current play counts as the starting point; they count in "All time" (without date).
• Daily snapshot of Music's play counters (background job, occ musicstats:snapshot), with a stable track identity across a Music library reset and no negative counts.
• With a Music version that sends TrackPlayedEvent, each play is recorded with its exact time and its app (web interface, Subsonic or Ampache client), and reconciled with the snapshots without double counting.

Dashboard

• Period selector: 7 days, 30 days, this month, this year, all time, custom range.
• Key figures compared with the previous period; "All time" includes Music's play counts from before tracking, explained by a help bubble.
• Listening time per day, week or month; top albums with covers, top artists with pictures, top tracks, top 50; discoveries; genres, decades and apps; CSV export.

Library

• Contents: tracks, albums, artists, genres, total length, genres and decades, tracks added per month, most present artists.
• Tags to complete: tracks without genre, year or artist, albums without cover, with links to the files.
• Ratings: the stars given to tracks (for example in PowerAmpache2), average, distribution, plays by rating, 5-star tracks, loved but rarely played tracks, best rated artists and albums.
• Listening: share of the library played, most played artists of all time, forgotten albums (with an explanation while Music's history is shorter than the threshold), never played tracks by album, by artist or as a list, with a ▶ button to play them in Music.

Yearly recap

• Key figures, album and artist of the year, month by month, top tracks, discovery of the year, compared with the previous year (changes, last year's ranks, rank moves, genre shares).
• Each recap is saved for good 7 days after the end of the year.

Sharing

• Read-only public web pages for the dashboard, the yearly recap and each part of the library (contents, ratings, listening), valid 24 hours or 7 days, revocable, with an editable accompanying message.
• Only the pictures shown on the page are served; no link to Music or to files; nothing is served when the administrator disables public links.

Other

• Music Stats only reads Music's data and never changes it.
• Settings: stop tracking, forgotten threshold, delete history; occ musicstats:reset.
• English, French and Finnish.
• Nextcloud 34 and 35.
