This app is great. I switched to it from the "Audio" app and am very satisifed ever since. I am using it to listen to the instrumental part of my music collection while at work using a playlist, and it just works.

Recently, I have discovered that the provided Subsonic API lets me easily hook up my music collection to Music Assistant, which in turn lets me play my music to Sonos speakers "directly" from my Nextcloud (without setting up a NAS or anything). Even the playlists are provided. This is just a great example for open-source interoperability. Thank you.

If one is careful of when to update the app, as to not break it when updating to newer, unsupported NC versions, this app is one of my favorite for fun, applications on NC. Especially when the server end is setup with a companion mobile app, in my case, on Android. As long as you have the disk space, this can become your personal Youtube radio or Spotify replacement-like software. But with much enhanced privacy.

Highly recommended, if you are willing or have the space to put your music on the cloud. Worth nothing that some Android apps will let you keep played music locally, so it can worth using in multiple ways, for those times when you are offline.

Excellent addition for Nextcloud and very useful.

A absolute "must have" app for personal Nextcloud deployments. I can't recommend it enough. The ability to be a real simple to set up Subsonic/Ampache music server directly from your Nextcloud is huge, on top of being an already excellent music-podcast-internet radio interface in its own right.

It just works. I don't need fancy bells and whistles in a lot of music players, so this is great.

EDIT: Recently added gapless playback, which was my only gripe with this app!

not feature rich like other media apps but it gets the job done because it has Ampache/Subsonic server capabilities so it allows me to access my music on my android device which is exactly what i need. The developer is very responsive to reported issues.

This is a really good app!!! Follow the instructions on GitHub to set up the Ultrasonic app on your phone.

This is a great app, especially for home users who keep their music collection in a Nextcloud. In a corporate environment it might perhaps be of a little less use, but I've been very happy with its ability to let me access my collection both at home, at work and mobile. In an ideal world, it would scale better to really huge collections but I can appreciate that there probably are technical hurdles there to solve, and most people probably will be fine with the amount it can handle. A must have addon to any private Nextcloud at the very least, and my thanks to the developers for making my Nextcloud that much better.

This app works great on a desktop browser, but I couldn't get the Ampache, Subsonic, or Ultrasonic Android clients to work with it. I'm able to use CloudBeats with it, but it doesn't use the same API so the playlists don't sync. This makes it very difficult to use on mobile which is my primary use, but overall the desktop experience is great.

Fantastic music app for Nextcloud! The Subsonic API is awesome! I installed the UltraSonic app off of F-Droid on my android devices and now I can stream my Nextcloud music on my phone with a nice app.

Nicely done! Simple to set up and simple to use. Even my three year old grandson has figured out how to use it. Building a playlist is as easy as it gets with the drag and drop functionality. It just simply works....

This is the best. I use it for streaming my home music at work. Also at home I can use it to listen to music from firefox in a laptop running fedora 20. It is very convenient because I don't have to install any player application in different operating systems, just use the web browser
