Very interesting!!! But I'm a little worried because of "backgroundjob_interval_cleanup"! What does this really do? without our knowledge ? Can we deactivate it? by setting the value 0 or by another means?

Very useful application!! After merging several photo archives I had 130 GB and thousands of duplicates. Running the app in the browser it gives you a useful output with thumbprints and the option to remove duplicates from the archive directly. So far it showed me a max of 5 duplicates of a single photo (in an output of some 8000 photo's). I had to run multiple passes to find all duplicates for some photo's.

NOTE: it doesn't just compare filenames. It found hundreds of duplicates that had totally different filenames. How it does that I do not know, but it must be reading the file content and calculating a hash from there. So far it has never given me a false double.

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, I cand wait to use this app!

I'm surrounded by people who do so many multiple downloads of the same files let alone the way Google made so many redundant copies of photos with their shitty spyware convenience ideas. And my kids with thei rmusic! Soooo many duplicate songs.
